A monthly letter from the desk of Sarah Fejfar

Happy Fall!

I hope this note finds you doing outstanding and enjoying the leaves turning and apple cider and perhaps even a cozy sweater!

The past month has been an adventurous one for me. I produced a client’s event in Athens and Delphi and followed that with a site visit to Istanbul for their 2023 event. And then I got COVID for the first time. Oy.

On the return flight I started to feel like something wasn’t right and immediately tested positive upon getting home and didn’t make it out of bed for five days. I’m happy to report I feel a million times better now, even though I’m not yet at 100%.

I’d say a highlight was hiking the Delphi Archaeological Site, walking the roof of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, touring the two Four Seasons in Istanbul, and boating on the Bosporus River. The common thread being they were all so peaceful.

I’m curious, what did you learn last month?

Here’s a few things I learned:

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL TIPS: investing in the support of a translator and guide is always a good idea, and an acclimation day is smart when the time zone spread is significant

PERSONAL VALUES: I value being together with my family (Cliff and Paige) and prefer to travel with them whenever possible; I value my health and prefer to surround myself with family, friends, peers, and clients who feel similarly; I value beautiful natural scenery over city life… even when I travel.

RIGHT FIT CLIENTS: I learned more criteria that help me identify right fit clients. This is invaluable because we give the best of ourselves to those we feel most closely aligned with. And giving our best feels good (and is so important.)

What are your goals for the next 30 days?


I’m working on:

PODCAST GUESTING: I’m creating a system that enables me to consistently reach out to podcast hosts for the opportunity to speak on their shows

3-PART LIVE LAUNCH: I’m studying James Wedmore’s process for delivering a live training series so I can create one

HYBRID EVENT: I’m helping a client produce a hybrid educational / sales event for a few thousand guests. I’m specifically helping with the virtual side of things where the majority (90%) of their guests will be participating from.
