When you as the business owner are super clear on what your ascension model is, it allows you to be super clear with your community members about what that ascension model is and also how they move up it.
Sarah Fejfar 0:14
How are entrepreneurs like us daring bravely to build a stage? Ditch the sweat pants? And step up to the mic? How do we create our own transformative offense? So we can get our message out into the world in a bigger way. It's not only profitable, but it's actually something we can be proud of.
Sarah Fejfar 0:34
That's the question. And the answers are inside this podcast. My name is Sarah Fejfar. Welcome to greenroom Central.
Sarah Fejfar 0:43
Hey, so this is for you. If you've ever gotten stuck trying to visualize adding events into your business, I've noticed that this happens when a CEO doesn't know their purpose. They don't know where the events going to fit into their ascension model. So I'm going to share three steps to moving past that block and into momentum, which is where we want to be right. Okay. So I recently had a prospect call me, and we got on the Zoom, and we were talking about their business. And they were just so passionate about adding events into their business.
Sarah Fejfar 1:24
And I felt like they didn't know how, because they were confused about what they did, and how those events were going to fit in. Like that was the block between them and wanting to realize this vision of hosting events, but getting started. And so I thought, Well, how about we kind of walk through what I coached this person on, and see if that helps you with your visualization of okay, yes, I really want events in my business, I feel super called to host events, I feel like my community is ready for me to start hosting events.
Sarah Fejfar 2:11
But I want to move past this, like wanting into action actually making this dream a reality. So three things we're going to talk about first, I think that you have to know what products you sell, I think you need to list them all out and really know what it is that you have for offer. And I know this sounds silly, but I think some people don't actually realize the value that they're bringing to the market. And like how that all fits into a nice clean product or service package. And so I want you to be so clear on what it is that you offer. Is it in all of the things like free and low ticket and mid tier and high ticket and, and locks?
Sarah Fejfar 3:08
Okay, I want you to know, or have an idea of what that could be in the future of what are each of those tiers in your business. And then the second thing I want you to do is I want you to organize them in a vertical line, picture a pyramid. And I want you to at the bottom, lowest price or free and then at the highest, and then move all the way up to the highest price thing that you offer. And the reason why I want you to do that is I want you to know, where does merge my free stuff fit in? Where do I have what? What are the ways I'm getting people into my world with free stuff? Or low ticket stuff?
Sarah Fejfar 3:56
Okay, and then what is a slightly more intimate way that I can be working with people but more in a group fashion? And then what is my highest ticket thing. And I think when you know what it is that you sell, and you organize them vertically from lowest price, lowest amount of intimacy with you to highest price to highest amount of intimacy with you. I think it helps us because then we can figure out number three, which is think about where an event would be a really useful bridge to either get people into your world or move people up that pyramid that you just created. Because that's how I think about events that are in the enrollment category.
Sarah Fejfar 4:58
I think about them as a bridge Think about them as either a way to get them in your world. And that's one great place to put an event. And I also think an event is a great an enrollment event is a great bridge between tiers of your pyramid. Are you following? Okay, cool. Also, events can fit into your pyramid, if they are fulfillment events. So we talked about enrollment events, enrolling people into your community, or into a product or service that you have. But also events work as fulfillment events. So they work as a way to fulfill something that you have sold. So this a great example of this as a mastermind, and or a retreat, okay?
Sarah Fejfar 5:48
So that's why I want you to use this, this framework, if you feeling stuck about where that event would fit in, and then allow you to do the brainstorming work that you need to do in order to really picture it, I'm a person who has to be able to see it before I can make it happen is that like, Are you like that? I just have to see it. When I was searching for colleges, we towards seven, God bless my family, my parents for taking me to that many colleges. But as soon as I got to the one that I ended up going to enrolling in it, I could see myself there, I could picture myself walking to classes, I could picture myself living there.
Sarah Fejfar 6:38
And I think that we need to do the same thing with our events, we need to be able to see it before we can go run after it and make it happen. So use this framework First, figure out what products do you sell? Okay, so I'm going to give you a quick example of maybe the bottom of the pyramid is going to be like, free, a free PDF, okay. And then maybe you've got a little higher than that you've got a maybe it's a lower price like $37, like guide or something ebook, and then maybe you've got a 197 course. And then maybe above that, you've got group coaching.
Sarah Fejfar 7:21
And then beyond that, you've got one on one coaching, okay, something super simple like that, organize those, that's number two is organize those in the low to high price range. And then, and then think about where the event is going to be helpful for bridge as an enrollment event to move people either in to your world or between those tiers. And an example of that is using an event for existing community members, inviting them, and then at the end, or in the middle, and at the end, making an offer to enroll in your let's say, your $3,500 group coaching program. So an event can be a really great way to enroll people in higher ticket things.
Sarah Fejfar 8:11
Or it can be a great way as a free lead magnet to enroll people into your community at large. Or think about is this a fulfillment event? Is that where your heart's at? Is? Is it fulfilling a mastermind? Is it fulfilling that small group retreat desire that you've had, and if so, that's, obviously you're gonna have to figure out how you're going to sell that event.
Sarah Fejfar 8:37
And I would probably recommend that you could sell your fulfillment event which is a massive an in person mastermind with an event and enrollment event, an event to sell an event. Imagine that. Alright, so I hope that you feel less stuck, like you're back in momentum, like this simple three step framework can help you visualize adding events into your business. And figuring out where they're gonna be in your ascension model. I'm so passionate about ascension models, because as the consumer, I want to see the path I want to aspire to move up that pyramid, up that ladder, if you will, of of intimacy of time, with you as the personal brand.
Sarah Fejfar 9:32
And and so when you as the business owner are super clear on what your ascension model is, it allows you to be super clear with your community members about what that ascension model is and also how they move up it. And it's a super beautiful thing. I can't tell you how many communities I'm a part of right now. Where I see the path. I see where people are in Hi are paid programs and services with this business. And I know that I'm not there or ready yet. And still, I'm aspiring to get there. And them being clear about what that path is and how I travel on that path. Makes me want it more and want to work harder to go get it. And I want that for you, too.
